Newborn

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing this handsome little guy, Levi. I have known his mom since 2nd grade. It’s always a little surreal to photograph friends getting married or their newborn session. I never thought I would be doing this when I was younger, but I’m so glad it turned out this way, and I was super excited when Katelyn reached out about doing an at-home newborn session.

Katelyn and Brandon’s home provided the perfect backdrops, from their bedroom to the living room and the cute little nursery. Charlie, their boxer, had to join in! She was so cautious and sweet and funny. I absolutely loved her personality. She was not so sure about my flashes, but their home has such beautiful natural light that I didn’t even need one most of the time.

I’m so excited for these new parents, and I can’t wait to watch Levi grow <3.

Kate started to tear up with the picture on the left…because Levi is so cute, she said. So adorable. The cuteness can definitely be overwhelming!
