Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Fleming!

Last Saturday, June 3rd, Melissa and Todd said “I do” and celebrated with their family and friends at Butler Country Club.

First, I started the morning off with the girls at Melissa’s parents’ house. Hannah, my second, started with the guys at Todd’s parents’ house. Melissa sent me pictures of the houses and rooms ahead of time, and I knew we were going to have so many pretty picture spots. A bay window in the formal living room was the perfect spot to let in natural light and provide such a gorgeous backdrop.

Rosie, Melissa’s 14-year-old Yorkie, joined us for some pictures. She didn’t want to look directly at the camera (just like my dog haha), but we still got her with some tricks and a few butt scratches!
One of the best parts of the morning was seeing Melissa’s dad turn around to see her in her dress for the first time. I wasn’t sure if he was going to cry, but he teared up a little and is just the absolute sweetest dad. The bond he and Melissa share was so obvious. These are the moments I’m so grateful to be a part of and capture for my clients.

Next, we traveled to Memorial Park Church in McCandless for the ceremony and some pictures with the family, and then we all head to the reception. Butler Country Club acted as a beautiful summer spot to finish celebrating, and I love the location. There was this perfect spot with a bridge and water by the golf course where we grabbed all the bridal party pics. Melissa and Todd picked a fantastic group of friends and family to support them, and they were so much fun! It was a crazy hot afternoon, but they all were so positive and helpful.

Melissa and Todd, thank you SO much for having me and Hannah. I can’t wait for the second wedding ceremony at the end of the month!
