I only tale a few weddings each year now, so most clients book their wedding 6-12 months in advance.
Upon booking the wedding, we can choose in which season to have your engagement pictures taken.
If you're just booking an engagement session, then you can usually book 3-6 months in advance.

I always respond within 24-48 hours. Remember to check your spam if you don't receive a response by then.
To book your wedding, an online portal will be sent. Within the portal you'll pay the non-refundable retainer invoice of $750 and sign the contract. Completing both these things officially books your wedding date on the calendar and locks in current pricing. The retainer then goes toward the overall total collection.
To book your engagement session only, the sitting fee it $250, and $50 is due at booking. The remainder is due on or before the day of the session.
And you'll choose and pay for a collection separately after viewing the online proofing gallery.
A full session typically lasts about 1.5.
Most clients have two outfits, one that is more casual like jeans and tees or sweaters. And the other outfit can be more dressy.
Children and dogs are, of course, welcome!
Since we live in Pittsburgh, this is always something we deal with! The forecast can literally show four seasons in one day, so I usually wait until the night before or morning of to make a decision.
The sun is hard to come by in the fall and winter months, so if it's going to be cloudy or overcast I do not usually reschedule.
Usually the only reason for rescheduling will be heavy rain, hail, snow or high winds.
If we do need to reschedule we'll decide on a date at the time since I cannot reserve two dates per clients.
1-2 days after the session, I will send the proofing gallery. These will be watermarked and cannot be downloaded yet. You will have one week to choose and pay for a collection (separate from the sitting fee). Once you've chosen and paid for your favorites, I'll do final edits which will include most blemish removal, fixing distracting fly-aways, etc.
If you have any questions about editing, please let me know ahead of time. Advanced blemish removal will have an additional charge simply because it takes longer to edit.
Final edits usually takes 10-14 business days, excluding Mondays and holidays.
After you receive your gallery with the final edits, you'll be able to download the high-resolution images, as well as have access to the online store for ordering high-quality prints.

Print Ordering
There's a huge difference between looking at pictures on your phone and holding them in your hands.
Each gallery gives you access to an online store where you can order prints, but many collections include products like my favorite- the fine art album. Sometimes it's hard to know what you might like or how big you'll need something to be. I always offer a free meeting where I can help you with this, so you're not figuring it out alone! I also offer beautiful linen folio boxes that come with a few collections, as well as different size albums and wall portraits, that will are awesome to have as keepsakes.
If your session takes place at the studio, you'll be able to look through all the sample products during or after the session!
