I first met this wonderful family last year when they came in for their second child’s newborn photos. I was more than excited to meet their third addition, baby Isla. And she is a redhead, too! At least so far :). I need more redheaded babies in my life!

I always start with family and sibling poses so mom and dad can relax the remainder of the session. If possible, it’s nice to have another family take the other kids so they don’t have to wait around for the end of the session. The tan backdrop, as seen below, is one of my favorites to use for newborn family pictures because because it’s neutral and should match most home decor, but also because it brings warmth to skin tones.

This mama requested florals for her baby girl, and I was happy to accommodate! I love the first image so much because she’s smiling amid all the pretty flowers.
