On a warm August day, nestled in the serene beauty of Dawson, PA, Brooke and Marty Doctorick began their journey as husband and wife. Surrounded by the timeless elegance of the historic Linden Hall, their wedding day was a perfect reflection of the love and joy they share.
We started with the girls getting ready in the upstairs of the mansion. I loved seeing all the familiar faces – Brooke’s mom, Michele, and her sister, Blaire. After capturing some special moments with the girls, we got ready for the ceremony that would take place on the beautiful lawn outside the mansion. It was a lovely sunny day, and Brooke looked amazing as she walked down the long path toward Marty. The ceremony itself was short and sweet, and we headed back to the front of the mansion for family and bridal party portraits. Brooke had two requests, and one was to get some shots with the stunning mountains in the background. These turned out to be some of my favorite images from the day!
Brooke’s other request was to get some champagne popping images in the dark. These were so much fun, and I love how they turned out!
When weddings go as perfectly as Brooke and Marty’s did, it makes me miss photographing them even more! I’m so thrilled I was asked back to celebrate with their friends and family.
