I had so much anticipation building up for this wedding. I was very excited to work with Wren and Erik, especially since we had such an epic engagement session in the snow back in January! I knew everything was going to be perfect, and it was a beautiful day.

We started out in Wren and Erik’s home, and the bride and flower girl, Ava (bride and groom’s daughter) took a vintage car to the ceremony at the Church of St. Peter in Brownsville, PA. Such an architecturally gorgeous church, I don’t think they could have picked a more perfect place. We then headed to Linden Hall in Dawson, PA. I could have photographed the bride and groom there ALL DAY! There were so many pretty spots and views, and inside the mansion was also another treat! So much history and beautiful architecture.

The reception started off with some heartfelt speeches, especially one from the ring-bearer, Preston (bride and groom’s son), that brought everyone to tears. There was so much fun with DJ Ken V leading the show. And the food – let me just talk about the food. The crab cakes were something to holler about! They deserved their own shoutout here. Another shoutout to Rachel Swink, the wedding event coordinator for Linden Hall. She was so wonderful to work with, and she played a huge part in the success of the flawless evening.

Wren and Erik, it was my pleasure being your photographer. Thank you for trusting me to capture your day, and for just being plain awesome 😉 I wish you every happiness as you begin your married life together with Ava and Preston.

Sorelle Bridal Salon in Washington, PA, did an amazing job with Wren’s uniquely pink dress. All the beading was special-ordered. Just breathtaking work!

Driven by the sweetest gentleman, Dave Dull, whose birthday was the same day. He turned 81!

Everyone threw lavender. It smelled amazing!

The bridal party sang “Happy Birthday” to Dave before he left Linden Hall. I think he enjoyed it <3
