This was my last wedding of the season due to covid-19 reschedules, but it couldn’t have ended better. Well, maybe we could have dealt with a little less rain! Jake and Emily were married Friday, August 28th, at St. Sebastian Church in Belle Vernon, PA. We started the day at their home where the girls were getting ready. Such a great group of ladies, and I was in love with the floors! They were the perfect backdrop for detail shots. My second, Hannah, met up with the guys, who were definitely have a good time already!
After the ceremony, we headed to The Grayson House in Uniontown, PA. And it started to pour. And I mean POUR. But this couple and bridal party were so amazing to work with. We may not have been able to get the outside of this gorgeous venue in the backdrop, but the inside was just as pretty! We had about 15 minutes before guests started to arrive, so we had to move quick, and they all ROCKED it.
It stopped raining about 10 minutes before their intros so I grabbed the bride and groom to try to sneak in some quick shots with the beautiful landscape. I am so happy for them that we got these extras!
Emily and Jake, thank you SO much for having me and Hannah. I’m so happy we could be there for you both, and I really hope to return to The Grayson House on a sunny day in the future!!!
