Two weeks ago, Jess and Eric celebrated their wedding at The Gathering Place in Darlington, PA. This gorgeous lake venue is quite possibly one of my favorites! But what made the day that much better was being able to capture Jess and Eric’s tremendous love for each other surrounded by their family and friends.

Eric’s cousins actually own and operate this venue. They frequently celebrate Thanksgiving there with lots of family, and so it was the perfect and obvious choice for the wedding location. And this place has it all! There is a new cabin where the bride and bridesmaids can get ready. It’s such a pretty rustic spot for preparation pictures. The groomsmen hung out in the main area which is an “Amish constructed log Event Center.” It functions as blending indoor and outdoor seamlessly.

There’s this adorable log gazebo overlooking the lake where Jess and Eric said their vows. Afterward we were able to go to lots of different spots for photos. My favorite spot was over by the willow tree. It provided lots of shade and gave a super intimate feel when these two were under it.

The reception that followed was so much fun, and the cookie table looked delicious! You know a couple is extremely loved when 5 people wanted to give toasts. They were all super sweet and made me feel so grateful that I know this couple now, too. I couldn’t be more happy for Jess and Eric. They are two of the kindest people I know, and I’m so glad I got to celebrate with them at The Gathering Place!
