I met Cade at his newborn session and was so happy he and his parents came back for this casual 1st birthday session. Jeans and white tees are probably my favorite look, and almost everyone has these items in their closet. Keeping the outfits simple allows for easy planning and focusing more on everyone’s expressions.

For your birthday session, you have the option to end it with a cake smash. I provide a balloon garland and loose balloons, while parents provide the cake in case of allergies. We try to plan ahead so I can coordinate balloon colors with the cake smash outfit. Scroll to see Cade going head first into his cake! I absolutely love it when toddlers do this!
