Wedding: Bobbie & John, Wharton, PA

Weddings

The morning of October 8, 2016, started off rainy up the mountain in Wharton, with a chance of showers very likely for the rest of the day. But that didn’t put a damper on the mood of Bobbie and John’s wedding. They used a friend’s beautiful piece of land for the ceremony and reception. And in between we traveled just down the road a bit to the gorgeous Nemacolin Woodlands Resort for the bridal party pictures. Fog surrounded us, but I LOVED it. The weather was so predictable for a fall wedding, and it gave such a beautifully mysterious atmosphere. And back at the reception, the sky started to clear to a misty blue that set the perfect backdrop for the newlyweds’ first dance.

What’s more important than the setting of their wedding is the kindness of their hearts. I am so honored that I could share in Bobbie and John’s day because they have been a joy getting to know.

Enjoy <3

Shoutout to Sincerely, Lizzie for the beautiful stationary!

Their rings sit atop the custom antler design coasters that were given to the guests as a gift. So unique.

Mother daughter <3

Raelynn will never forget this moment, I’m sure.

Don’t you just love black and white film presets?

Their nicknames for each other are so cute.

Eian looking SHARP!

Such a pretty backdrop with all the fall colors.

Oh yeah. AND they had a horse-drawn carriage!!!

John gave the kids a special gift just from him during the ceremony. I don’t think there was a dry eye around.

This next set is from Nemacolin.

Possibly my favorite image from the day <3

Shoutout to Wren McKean for making the florals. Stunning, right?!

These two are just stylin’.

Ok, this is another favorite…

And this one! Bobbie just knew how to work it. That is “smize” perfection!

I simply loved all the rustic details at the reception.

Bobbie and her girlfriends (Allaire and Wren) made this cake and cupcakes, too. Pretty amazing work.

They also made the dance floor. I can’t get over how much they and their friends and family did themselves.

And yet, here is another favorite! I’m so indecisive.

They ended the night with a mechanical bull for everyone to have some awesome fun with.

Bobbie and John, thank you so, SO much for having me. I wish you every happiness in the future <3
