Morgan’s First Holy Communion, Mellon Park, Pittsburgh, PA

Portraits

It’s First Holy Communion season – one of my favorites! I’ve got a few coming up this weekend, rain or shine, and I wanted to share this blog of Morgan’s session from earlier in April to start things off. Morgan was such the perfect little model. She just kept going even after I told her I was done and then changed my mind. What a sweetheart!

Morgan’s little cousin, Willow, was there for some updates, too, and she is a firecracker. I seriously LOVE getting to spend time with both these two (and their brothers when the occasion arises); they’re so full of personality and laughs. It’s always a good time.

Enjoy!

It was Morgan’s turn for some individual pictures, but Willow wasn’t having that!

Something you should know about Willow: she doesn’t stay in one spot very long, but she’s totally got the kissy face down LOL!

One of my favorites!

Love this one, too. Morgan’s hair looked beautiful.

Willow’s mom brought her wedding gown. We had done some shots with her dress last year when Willow turned one, so we had to use it again this year.

Then Willow started eating a stick. This is why I love this girl.

Ah, there were so many spots around Mellon Park to use. This grouping of rocks just seemed perfect for the occasion, and then the setting sun actually came out from behind the clouds. Morgan looked like an angel.

Willow also ate some gravel. The first image below is her bending over to try it.

Does she like it? I’m pretty sure the raised eyebrow was from seeing me laughing hysterically. You go, girl. The world needs more people like Willow <3

We ended the evening with a few candids after Morgan had changed out of her dress.

Super cute.
