Wedding: Sara & Sam, The Farm House Inn, Mill Run, PA

I’m really excited to share this last wedding of 2020. It was completely unexpected and unplanned, but I happened to be available when the groom’s mom called to see if I could come to Mill Run for Sam and Sara’s wedding on September 12, 2020. The Farm House was adorable, and the land it sits on is gorgeous. We ended up with perfect weather, too.

I didn’t get to know this couple before the day like I usually would, but I was thrilled to meet them and spend time with the few family and friends who could be there. It was such a friendly group, and I’m grateful that somehow I always get to photograph weddings of the most amazing people.

This was my first wedding where it was a self-uniting marriage, too. You don’t get to do this in every state, so it’s a very special thing. I absolutely loved how intimate the ceremony was because of this.

Sara’s friend, Amanda, was so sweet and helpful!
Wine is always important.
Everyone was trying to get family members who couldn’t be there on the phone so they could watch the ceremony, too.
Sam’s parents started off the ceremony by saying a few words.
Then it was Sara’s parents’ turn to speak. They were calling in from Panama!
Such a sweet moment. Sara’s dad read something he had written for Sara when she was younger.
The wind just kept refusing to cooperate. I love these, though, Sara! <3
One of my faves <3

Sara and Sam, thank you so, SO much for having me share in your day! All the best to you <3.

Thank you to Neubauer’s Flowers, as well, for the beautiful florals!!!
